LAPSIM: Advanced minimally invasive surgery training

The Laparoscopic Surgery Simulation program offers comprehensive training for residents in minimally invasive surgical techniques. It includes practices with pelvitrainers, virtual and robotic simulators, to develop essential skills in controlled environments.

LAPSIM offers residents comprehensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques. This multidisciplinary training combines practices with pelvitrainers, virtual laparoscopic simulators and robotic simulators to foster collaboration between specialties and enhance the use of new technologies.

The program is structured in three phases adapted to each year of residency:

  • Phase 1: Practices with pelvitrainers for R1 and R2, supervised by assistants, where basic manual skills are developed.
  • Phase 2: Practices with virtual laparoscopic simulators with exercises adapted to each speciality to delve into advanced surgical techniques.
  • Phase 3: Training in robotic simulators for R4 and R5 residents, where psychomotor skills and robotic surgery techniques are applied.

In addition, specific theoretical training is included for each phase, covering everything from the basics to more advanced procedures in robot-assisted surgery. The program is assessed at each phase to ensure the progressive achievement of competencies.

With this training, you will acquire the skills necessary to work effectively in real surgical environments and use innovative technologies safely.

Acquire skills in minimally invasive surgery with a program that combines intensive practice and advanced simulation for complete surgical training.

GINESIM: Training in obstetrics and gynecology

GINESIM offers specialized training in obstetrics and gynaecology with simulation. Divided into modules, it addresses techniques such as caesarean section, hysteroscopy and obstetric ultrasound.

The GINESIM program offers advanced and practical training in key obstetrics and gynaecology techniques, through clinical simulation. Aimed exclusively at residents in the speciality, the program is organized into three modules focused on different areas of expertise:

  • CESARIASIM: Works on the skills necessary to perform caesarean sections, including fetal extraction in various positions, resolving complications and making quick decisions in unforeseen situations.
  • HISTEROSIM: Trains residents in the technique of diagnostic and surgical hysteroscopy. Includes handling of the instrument, resolving complications, and practice with virtual simulators to consolidate skills before practice with real patients.
  • ECOGINSIM: Focused on obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound, teaches how to obtain and interpret fundamental ultrasound plans, with an emphasis on fetal biometry, early diagnosis and transvaginal ultrasounds.

Each module combines online theory with supervised practical sessions and time for independent practice, offering a progressive and effective learning experience.

The training culminates in a theoretical and practical assessment, ensuring that participants achieve competencies applicable in real clinical settings.

With GINESIM, you will gain confidence and proficiency in critical obstetrics and gynaecology techniques, improving your preparation to face professional challenges safely and effectively.

Improve your skills in caesarean sections, hysteroscopy and obstetric ultrasound with GINESIM, the simulation program for residents in obstetrics and gynaecology.
