Innovation as a strategic pillar

Innovation is fundamental to ensure the quality and efficiency of the health services provided to society. Each day, the challenges faced by public healthcare are of greater magnitude and have a great impact.

The new socio-sanitary challenges, the increase in budgetary pressure that demands improvements in efficiency and sustainability, the need to incorporate new technologies, drugs and therapies mean that we must promote innovation in all areas.

The success of an innovative project

Genuine need

The challenge we want to solve must respond to a real, important need shared by all participants in the innovation process.

Value

To innovate is to apply new knowledge or ideas to generate value for patients, professionals or the organization. In addition, each participant must obtain value so that he/she feels part of a great project.

People

In an innovation process, the team must be motivated and encouraged to make things change. People drive innovation.

Communication

To achieve the transversal involvement of all participants, it is key to communicate the objectives and vision of the innovation process.

Perseverance

Innovation requires motivation, time and effort. You must persevere to show that you believe in the project, gaining respect and trust.
