Women's Hospital
The Fetal Medicine Unit (FMU) treats fetal pathologies using advanced obstetric ultrasound, neurosonography, and echocardiography. The Pediatric Neurology Unit participates in the diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment of patients with pathologies detected at the fetal level, providing prenatal advice on the prenatal diagnostic process and postnatal follow-up.
The Advanced Training in Pediatric and Fetal Neurology, organized by the Obstetrics Department of Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, is an observer-level training activity that offers specialists a deeper understanding of fetal neurosonography, counseling on neurological pathologies in the prenatal stage, and the fundamentals of postnatal follow-up and treatment of prenatal-diagnosed pathologies, at a leading center in Spain.
