Maternal-Fetal Medicine covers such a broad range of pathologies that professionals require additional training in referral centers to establish a solid foundation of knowledge for patient treatment. The Fetal Cardiology subunit is comprised of the Obstetrics, Neonatology, and Pediatric Cardiology Departments.

The Advanced Training Program in Fetal Cardiology is an observer-level training program that provides specialists with the necessary knowledge to ensure quality care for heart conditions, whether congenital or not, detected during the fetal period.
