Assisted human reproduction is emerging as one of the areas with the greatest social and economic impact, as well as a field of medicine that is constantly at the forefront of technical developments in biotechnology, pharmacology, and genetics.
The Obstetrics and Reproductive Endocrinology Service at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital is the third center in Catalonia in terms of the number of assisted reproduction cycles performed per year and has the technology and infrastructure to address all types of problems related to human reproduction, paying special attention to preserving fertility in women who may lose it due to cancer.
The Advanced training in assisted human reproduction is an observer-level training activity through which the Assisted Reproduction Unit at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital provides interested specialists with the most advanced experience and technology. This training provides them with a comprehensive understanding of the skills and knowledge required for assisted human reproduction, both in terms of medical care and laboratory management experience.
