Sra. Montserrat Giménez Prous

Chartered Accountant, PADE IESE, with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economic Sciences from the UB. Experience in financial auditing and managing non-profit organisations, developing and implementing a new economic management mode in several of the Spanish State’s Research Foundations (hospitals such as 12 de Octubre, Gregorio Marañón and La Princesa de Madrid) as a managing partner at GML.

I came to the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR), in 1994, just after its creation, collaborating in the Institution’s organisational and economic design. I have now been attached to the VHRI for 25 years, first as its administrative-financial manager, later as its head of the financial unit and finally, since 2014, as its Manager. Currently a member of the Steering Committee and in charge of the Financial-Economic Management Area, the Human and Legal Resources Area, the Digital Transformation and Quality Area and the General Services and Infrastructures Area.
