As the Head of Talent Attraction and Acquisition at the Vall Hebron Institute of Research, I bring over a decade of expertise in recruitment, with a specialized focus on the healthcare and biomedical research sectors for the past four years.

Curriculum

While completing a higher vocational training course in Business Administration, I obtained my first job in the Human Resources field. This experience increased my interest in the discipline, leading me to pursue a degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources at the University of the Basque Country, which I completed in 2017.

Subsequently, I moved to London to undertake a postgraduate degree in People Management. During this period, I worked in various Human Resources positions within the UK’s public health system (NHS), focusing on personnel selection.

During my years at the NHS, I managed the recruitment process for the COVID-19 vaccination program, progressively taking on new responsibilities in other recruitment teams. In early 2023, I was appointed Head of Recruitment at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, leading a multicultural team of 40 people.

In February 2024, I moved to Barcelona to join VHIR as Head of Talent Attraction & Acquisition, with the challenge of standardizing and implementing systems and processes to facilitate talent attraction, improve candidate satisfaction, and enhance the continuous development of the talent attraction and acquisition team.
