I am an assistant of the Urology and Renal Transplantation department. I develop my activity within the Urothelial Carcinoma Unit (bladder and upper urinary tract). I actively participate in the robotic surgery program for bladder cancer and in numerous research projects in urothelial carcinoma. I am a Doctor of Medicine (PhD) from the University of Barcelona and I belong to the panel of experts in muscle-invasive and metastatic bladder cancer of the European Urology Guidelines ("EAU Guidelines").

Curriculum

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2009 and did my specialization via MIR in Urology at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (2010-2015) where I obtained the MSD award for the best resident of the year (2016). At the end of the residency I received the "Emili Letang End of Residency Award" consisting of a research scholarship on molecular markers of prostate cancer, as well as a scholarship from the "European Urological Scholarship Program" (EUSP) to carry out a fellow at the University College of London Hospital. I have the "Fellow of the European Board of Urology" certificate since 2016. I worked as a urology assistant at the Hospital Clínic during 2016. Since 2017 I have been a specialist in Urology at the Vall Hebron Hospital where I specifically focus on the management of Urothelial Carcinoma (bladder and upper urinary tract). I am PhD from the University of Barcelona (Exc. Cum laude). Since 2021 I belong to the panel of experts in muscle-invasive and metastatic bladder cancer of the European Urology Guidelines ("EAU Guidelines"). I am a member of the Catalan Society of Urology, the Spanish Society and the European Association of Urology. I have published numerous articles as first author in both national and international journals.
