Ells i elles treballen en àmbits diferents relacionats amb la recerca del càncer, però que formen part d'un equip l'objectiu del qual és el mateix: millorar els tractaments dels pacients oncològics i la seva qualitat de vida, ja sigui des del laboratori, des de la clínica, des de la gestió i anàlisi de dades, des de la captació de beques que ajudin els i les investigadors a seguir amb els seus projectes, des de les àrees de suport a la recerca com a finances, compres, serveis generals... Tots ells i elles són fonamentals en la recerca del càncer en un centre com el VHIO.
