Resum:
L’artroplàstia total de maluc (ATM) és un tractament reconegut per a l’artrosi i consisteix en el reemplaçament total de l’articulació mitjançant la col·locació d’una pròtesis. Amb la cirurgia es busca una millora de la qualitat de vida del pacient, reduir el dolor i millorar la funcionalitat de l’articulació.
Se sap que un nombre elevat de pacients amb pròtesis de maluc té necessitat d’informació sobre sexualitat, malauradament parlar d’aquest tema continua sent un tema tabú en el nostre entorn.
La mancança d’estudis que explorin aquesta necessitat, justifica la importància d’ampliar aquest camp de coneixement. Així doncs, el propòsit d’aquesta sessió és compartir els resultats d’un estudi que es va realitzar des de la nostra àrea de coneixement per garantir que tots els pacients puguin reprendre aquesta activat de forma segura i satisfactòria.
