El maneig de la via aèria forma part fonamental de l’activitat del SEM Pediàtric, per això se sol·licita formació específica al Servei d’Anestesiologia de Vall d’Hebron.
Un cop detectades les necessitats, es dissenya una formació que abasta aspectes teòrics, revisió de les darreres publicacions amb relació a algoritmes adaptats a l’atenció prehospitalària, i d’habilitats tècniques.
El primer bloc teòric és presencial i es tracten temàtiques com són els algoritmes d’actuació i recomanacions en l’accés de la via aèria difícil, seqüència d’intubació ràpida i farmacoteràpia o accés quirúrgic de la via aèria.
En el bloc pràctic s’organitzen cinc tallers de simulació que finalitzen amb un debriefing clínic TALK. També es practica en un total de cinc escenaris de simulació.
Dotar als professionals de coneixements teòrics sobre el maneig bàsic i avançat de la via aèria pediàtrica integrats a la pràctica clínica amb simulació de diferents pacients i escenaris.
