El 26 de novembre ha tingut lloc la tercera de les auditories que el Ministeri de Sanitat ha fet aquest mes a Vall d’Hebron perquè esdevingui Centre, Servei i Unitat de Referència (CSUR) en tres malalties minoritàries més: l’angioedema hereditari, les malalties autoimmunes sistèmiques i les malalties autoinflamatòries.
Actualment, l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron ja compta amb 33 acreditacions CSUR. Som el centre sanitari de Catalunya i del conjunt de l’Estat amb un major nombre de CSUR. Això significa que el Ministeri de Sanitat ha auditat positivament la nostra excel·lència en el tractament d’aquestes patologies i que qualsevol pacient de l’Estat pot tractar-se aquí.
Entre d’altres, Vall d’Hebron és Centre, Servei i Unitat de Referència en cremats crítics, trasplantaments pulmonars, cardiopaties familiars, malalties metabòliques congènites, esclerosi múltiple, osteotomia pèlvica en displàsies maluc, assistència integral a l’adult amb cardiopatia congènita i sarcomes i altres tumors musculoesquelètics. Cal destacar que compta amb 13 acreditacions CSUR que avalen l’expertesa en el tractament específic de pacients pediàtrics afectats per malalties com sarcomes, neurocirurgia pediatria complexa, neuroblastomes i trasplantament renal, hepàtic, cardíac i de progenitors hematopoètics al·logènic. Aquestes 13 acreditacions CSUR de Vall d’Hebron el converteixen en el segon centre de l’Estat en nombre de CSUR en el tractament del pacient pediàtric.
