L’exercici ha consistit en un incendi simulat a l’edifici Pavelló Docent, amb l’evacuació de tres plantes. El simulacre, organitzat per Protecció Civil de la Generalitat i l’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron, ha posat a prova el Pla d’Autoprotecció (PAU) de l’hospital.
L’Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron de Barcelona ha estat escenari avui d’un simulacre d’incendi en el quadre elèctric de la planta baixa de l’edifici Pavelló Docent, on s’ubica l’Escola Universitària d’Infermeria, amb l’evacuació de tres plantes. El simulacre d’avui ha servit per comprovar l’operativitat del Pla d’Autoprotecció (PAU) de l’Hospital Vall d’Hebron de Barcelona, practicar les accions a realitzar i posar a prova la coordinació entre els diferents grups actuants en una emergència.
Un cop detectada l’emergència, s’ha iniciat el protocol de les trucades al telèfon d’emergències 112 de Catalunya i al Centre de Coordinació Operativa de Catalunya (CECAT) de Protecció Civil de la Generalitat. En arribar al lloc, els Bombers de Barcelona han fet els treballs d’extinció de l’incendi.
Els Mossos d’Esquadra s’han encarregat juntament amb la Guàrdia Urbana de Barcelona del control d’accessos a la zona per facilitar el treball dels equips d’extinció, i han estat en contacte amb el cap de Bombers per establir el perímetre de seguretat. A l’exercici també hi ha participat el personal tècnic dels serveis territorials de Protecció Civil de la Generalitat a Barcelona.
