Research donations
La Marató tindrà lloc del 12 al 19 de gener, just després de les Festes de Nadal en què tradicionalment les donacions es redueixen un 25%.
Amb aquesta acció es pretén remuntar les reserves de sang, després de la davallada de les donacions al Nadal i s’espera aconseguir al voltant de 8.000 donacions de sang per recuperar el nivell de reserves anterior a les festes .
Per aquest motiu, el Banc de Sang ha habilitat un web, Maratodonants.cat, des del qual pots reservar hora per donar sang durant aquests dies, a més de convidar altres persones a sumar-s’hi. La plataforma també servirà per difondre la importància de donar sang a través de diferents canals digitals, com ara Facebook, Twitter, Instragram o bé per correu electrònic i WhatsApp.
Així, quan un donant reservi hora gràcies a la recomanació d’una amistat, aquesta rebrà un missatge d’agraïment. De manera que les persones que no poden donar sang, però que ajuden compartint el missatge, rebin un reconeixement per la seva contribució.
