Evaluation in the training process. How should residents be evaluated?
justification
In the context of specialized health training, evaluation is a fundamental part of the training process and as such must be kept in mind from the initial planning of the process.
You have to know what why and how to evaluate. In specialized health training, it is essential to use evaluation, both summative and formative.
The latter offers a series of techniques and processes with relevant advantages in the training of health professionals.
Level 1 activity -They are considered basic for the exercise of the functions of tutor and / or teaching collaborator and the initial accreditation phase
objectives
• Identify in the current context of specialized health training (ESF) the key aspects of the reference regulations related to evaluation.
• Know and differentiate the characteristics and resources necessary for formative and summative evaluation.
• Practice basic pedagogical skills for a correct formative evaluation.
target persons
Health professionals who carry out the tasks of head of study, tutoring of residents and teaching collaborators or who have to exercise in the short term.
contents
• Assessment systems: summative and formative.
• Evaluation as a starting point in planning a training process.
• Formative evaluation: objectives, requirements, characteristics, resources and tools.
• The resident's book.
• The tutor-resident interviews.
Methodology This activity in blended mode combines the presentation of the theoretical framework and the key concepts of the contents to be treated and the proposal for participation and in the practices and carrying out exercises at the teacher's proposal, which will be developed in a face-to-face session and in the classroom virtual. Material and bibliography are provided to the participants to monitor the activity and achieve the stated objectives. Teachers Level of evaluation assesses the satisfaction and learning of the participant. Places 30 Teaching hours 10, distributed in 4 face-to-face and 6 in the virtual classroom. Certification People who attend the face-to-face session, pass the tests established by the teaching staff and meet the enrollment requirements will be issued a certificate of participation and achievement.
