This SIMOONS module is designed to address paediatric patients by recreating two environments: a paediatric emergency care setting and another in a paediatric intensive care unit.

Participants can attend to, examine, stabilise, and treat paediatric patients with the most common pathologies across different age groups, ranging from mild to complex emergencies.

Different types of patients have been designed based on age, allowing for various clinical situations.

Participants can request imaging tests, laboratory tests and electrocardiograms and prescribe and administer medications.

Participants can also communicate with each other verbally and in writing and with the patient, if applicable.

The module also allows for a full physical examination with supporting images and indicates advanced techniques, such as intubation and ventilation, establishing venous access, and inserting invasive devices.

There is the option to assume different roles: simulation facilitator, participant, and observer. It is also possible to generate multiple cases and sessions simultaneously.
