Mortality in patients with high-risk and recurrent endometrial cancer is high since treatment options are limited, and tumors are extremely chemoresistant. In this study, we want to unveil the possible impact of molecular ITH on treatment response in endometrial cancer through a genomic study of PDX models developed from different areas of the tumor, the association of drugs targeting homogeneous and heterogeneous genomic alterations, and the preclinical study of those drugs in patient-derived xenograft organoid (PDXOs) models.

Brief CV. I studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona) and a Neuroscience master at University of Barcelona. Currently, I am doing the PhD in the Group of Biomedicine research in Ginecology lead by Dr. Eva Colás and Dr. Antonio Gil.

Host: Dr. Eva Colás Main researcher Biomedical Research in Gynaecology, Vall Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR)
