I received my doctorate in Physics with the mention of outstanding CUM LAUDE thanks to an FPI scholarship where I made two stays and formalized a series of scientific publications in first and second quartile journals.

I have a great professional career, but it was in November 2021 when I started my career in project management. I was at the La Fe Health Research Institute as an Innovation Support Technician developing functions in the Project PT17/0005/0011 Platform for innovation in medical and health technologies ITEMAS (ISCIII), such as: Participation in activities of the ITEMAS Platform; Support in the design, management and evaluation of own calls for innovation; Support in the review of R+D+i contracts and agreements and transfer to companies; Other tasks related to the platform.

In January 2022 I started working at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute as a manager of national projects in the pre-award unit where I carried out tasks such as searching for calls, writing indicator reports for management, preparing call diffusions, etc. Later I went to the post-award unit where I currently carry out tasks such as: Acting as a liaison between researchers, funding agencies and external collaborators; Planning and monitoring of the execution of expenses and management of eventual modifications in the conditions of execution; Verification of the eligibility of the expenses; Coordinate the processes of scientific and economic justification associated with the research projects and grants and process these justifications, as well as the modifications in the execution and possible requirements of the project before the funding bodies; Guarantee compliance with institutional policies, as well as the regulations of financing entities; Continuous registration and updating in internal project management tools; Updating and monitoring of the economic information of the ongoing projects that allows an adequate level of budgetary execution and information necessary for decision-making; Any other function related to the integral management of projects.
