El curs pretén proporcionar al col·lectiu, al qual va dirigit (Metges de Família; Cardiòlegs; M. Interna; Nefrologia; Residents) dels avenços fonamentals en les diferents àrees, tant a nivell fisiopatològic, com clínic.
El curs organitza aquesta informació, centrant-la en el pacient i el seu entorn per tal de:
1. Promoure l'excel·lència en el diagnòstic i tractament de la insuficiència cardíaca i les seves comorbilitats. 2. Afavorir la transferència de coneixement entre diferents especialitats clíniques que treballen de forma conjunta en el maneig dels pacients amb insuficiència cardíaca.
