I am a Dentist Specialist in Orthodontics, Dentofacial Orthopedics and Pre-Surgical Orthodontics. My activity at the Hospital begins with the need for orthodontics in patients with Facial Differences, developing the area of Pre-Surgical Orthopedics for Babies with Cleft Lip and Palate within the Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, we are currently creating a program that allows us to offer orthopedics and orthodontics to patients with craniofacial anomalies at all stages of their treatment.
Curriculum
Graduated in Dentistry in 2003 and Master in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2008 at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, being a teacher for 8 years at the same institution.
Postgraduate in Management and Direction of Dental Clinics at the Universidad de Barcelona in 2015
Expert Degree in Orthognathic Surgery and Pre-Surgical Orthodontics at the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña in 2017.
Doctorate in Surgery and Morphological Sciences. Cum Laude. Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona 2023.
I started in 2016 as an advisor for the Pre-Surgical Orthopedics program for Babies with Cleft Lip and Palate of the Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery Unit.
Since April 2018 I have been an Orthodontist at the Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery Unit and I am currently developing an Orthodontic program for patients with Facial Differences.
I am a member of the Venezuelan Society of Orthodontics, Spanish Society of Orthodontics and Spanish Society of Facial Fissures.
Apart from working in the private sector as an orthodontist, I carry out international humanitarian cooperation with Operation Smile International, Operation Smile Morocco and Smile Train.
